I’m a philosopher — that is probably the easiest way to describe who I am, what I do, and what I’ve done in the past. I have a PhD in philosophy, though I left academia shortly after earning it. Since then, I’ve worked in artificial intelligence and a few other industries as an ontologist. But if you’re here, it is probably because you found me on YouTube.

I started making YouTube videos in 2022, driven by a desire to talk about books and philosophy with others. I was fortunate to have some early success, and since then I’ve made it into a second career of sorts. I make videos about philosophy, science fiction, fantasy, and more.
